As
a Bondi Electrician you would be surprised how often I see poorly
maintained electrical switches, leads and power points which could
be very harm full to your family.
Rather than overloading power points ask your
Bondi Electrician for another power point to be installed. "Piggy
backing" plugs into one socket or by using double adaptors as all
power boards have maximum current ratings and you’re just asking
for trouble.
Put
safety plugs into unused power point sockets to prevent accidental
contact. If your not sure where to get them your local Bondi
Electrician will have them in stock.
Extension leads that are damaged, frayed or have
the inner wires exposed should be thrown away or repaired buy your
local Electrician Bondi
If
there is a build up of dirt, moisture, grease or oil on or around
power points and switches, arrange for your Electrician, Bondi to
have them tested
Please feel free to ask your Electrician Bondi
for suggestions on where to Place power boards. Generally speaking
place them in ventilated areas and keep them free of dust and
dirt.
Do
not attempt to repair electrical leads yourself, and never join
them by twisting or taping. Call your local Electrician Bondi for
repair
Do
not plug high wattage appliances (such as heaters) into power
boards as they could overheat the circuit wiring through overload
and cause a fire it might be prudent to ask your Local Bondi
Electrician for advice
